Why should I include working on my sexuality?

Most healing and guidance out there focuses on the mind and forgets that the body must be included for true healing and understanding. You can't feel truly safe if you are disconnected from your body. We are taught that we can think our way to healing. Mindset is important, but it is only one aspect of healing. We must work on the body, mind, and spirit. At the core, we are all erotic beings. It is the most natural and beautiful part of being human, yet it has been squashed and shamed. We all carry messaging and shame around this part of us. If you go on a healing journey without reclaiming this part of yourself, you will always be abandoning a part of yourself. The wholeness that you are at the core is fragmented.

From my own experience, because we haven't learned to listen to our bodies wisdom, we start getting chronic symptoms such as chronic pain, chronic UTIs, chronic stomach problems, severe migraines, menstrual issues, etc. Our bodies start to scream because they are ignored. It happens because we don't know our needs and boundaries. We go around with unmet needs, which lead to suffering and a lack of fulfillment. My purpose is to guide you back home to yourself. It is about finding out what you crave, need, and desire—not what I think you should want or what society thinks or expects. It's gaining clarity and understanding so that you live the life you deserve. My whole purpose is to help you discover your own power. It is all within you. I am here to assist you in remembering who you are at your core, identifying your values, and aligning them with your highest purpose and good.

In Western society, we are often exposed to a portrayal of sexuality that focuses on disconnected experiences, driven by visual fantasies and external goals. This emphasis on appearances and desires can lead us to neglect the importance of being fully present in our bodies. This results in a lack of authenticity and disconnection both within ourselves and in our relationships with others. The messages conveyed by advertising regarding pleasure often prioritize external needs and objects, disregarding the profound sensations that can be felt within our own bodies. This perpetuates the illusion that we lack something while disregarding the truth that we already possess everything we need within ourselves.
